1. An Unexpectedly High Water Bill

If your water usage habits haven't changed but your monthly bill suddenly spikes, a hidden leak is the most likely culprit. Keep a close eye on your statements; a steady increase over a few months can indicate a slow, continuous leak.

2. The Sound of Running Water

Do you hear a faint hissing, dripping, or rushing water sound even when all faucets, showers, and appliances are turned off? That sound is water escaping your plumbing system. Don't ignore it.

3. Musty Odors

Old, accumulated water creates the perfect environment for mold and mildew. If you notice a persistent, earthy, or musty smell in certain rooms, especially in basements, bathrooms, or near plumbing fixtures, there is likely moisture hidden behind the drywall.

4. Water Stains on Walls or Ceilings
